Exploring the use of Meta AI in the Effective Pedagogical Strategies and Leadership Practices of Teachers

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the use of Meta AI and GAI by teachers and their role in developing the pedagogical knowledge and leadership practices among them. In this quantitative study, positivist paradigm is followed along with the survey questionnaire as data collection tool from the teachers of private and public school of Sukkur to see the impact of Meta AI and GAI on teacher pedagogy and leadership skills. The findings of this study reveals that Meta AI and GAI has significant impact on teachers’ pedagogical knowledge development and leadership practices though there are some challenges but AI has become more of useful tool for reducing the burden of teachers and provide them space to learn from GAI. The result of this study are beneficial for the teachers, prospective teachers and school administration to organize professional development on the use of AI in education and spread the awareness of Meta AI and GAI. This is the unique study because there is slight research done in Pakistan and in Sindh on the impact of Meta AI and GAI in teacher pedagogical strategy and leadership practices.
