1. Purpose and Scope
The "Advance Social Science Archive Journal" (ASSAJ) employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and significance of published articles. This policy outlines the expectations for reviewers, authors, and editors involved in the peer review process.
2. Review Process
- Submission and Selection: Manuscripts submitted to ASSAJ undergo an initial editorial screening. Those deemed relevant and meeting basic formatting and ethical standards are assigned to two qualified reviewers with expertise in the relevant area of research.
- Double-Blind Review: Reviewers are not provided with the authors' names or affiliations, and authors are not informed of the identities of their reviewers. This ensures fair and unbiased evaluations.
- Review Form: Reviewers complete a structured review form, evaluating the manuscript based on specific criteria, including:

- Quality of data analysis and interpretation
- Clarity and coherence of writing
- Relevance to the journal's scope and audience
- Reviewer Recommendations: Reviewers provide one of the following recommendations:
- Accept without revision
- Accept with minor revisions

- Reject
- Review Deadline: Reviewers are expected to return their completed reviews within two weeks of receiving the manuscript.
3. Author Responsibilities
- Authors are expected to respond to reviewers' comments and suggestions in a timely and professional manner.
- Authors should submit a revised manuscript addressing all reviewers' concerns.
- Authors may provide a detailed response to reviewers' comments, outlining how they have addressed each point.
4. Editor Responsibilities
- Editors oversee the entire peer review process, ensuring its fairness and efficiency.
- Editors make final decisions on manuscript acceptance or rejection based on reviewers' recommendations and the overall quality of the manuscript.
- Editors may consult with additional reviewers or seek expert advice if necessary.
- Editors communicate decisions to authors in a timely manner, providing feedback on the reviewers' comments and suggestions.
5. Conflict of Interest
Reviewers and editors are expected to declare any potential conflicts of interest that might bias their evaluation of a manuscript. In such cases, the editor will assign the manuscript to alternative reviewers.
6. Confidentiality
All information related to the peer review process is considered confidential. Reviewers and editors are not permitted to share any information about the manuscript or the review process with anyone outside of the designated individuals.
7. Transparency
ASSAJ is committed to transparency in its peer review process. The journal website will provide information about the review process, including the average number of reviewers per manuscript and the decision turnaround time.
8. Amendments
ASSAJ reserves the right to amend this Peer Review Policy at any time. Any amendments will be posted on the journal website and will apply to all manuscripts submitted after the date of the amendment.
