Licensing Policy

Introduction

The Advance Social Science Archive Journal (hereinafter referred to as "the Journal") is committed to promoting the broad dissemination of research in the field of social sciences. This Licensing Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which content published in the Journal is licensed.

2. Licensing Options

Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal agree to grant the Journal the right to publish, reproduce, distribute, and archive their work. The Journal offers the following licensing options:

a. Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY): This license allows others to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work and derivative works based upon it, but only if they give the author or licensor the credits in the manner specified by these. This is the default license for the Journal.

b. Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial License (CC BY-NC): This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon the work non-commercially, and although their new works must also acknowledge the author and be non-commercial, they don’t have to license their derivative works on the same terms.

c. Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs License (CC BY-NC-ND): This license is the most restrictive of the six main licenses, allowing others to download the works and share them with others as long as they credit the author, but they can’t change them in any way or use them commercially.

3. Author Rights

Authors retain the copyright to their work. By submitting their manuscript to the Journal, authors grant the Journal the right to publish, distribute, and archive the work under the chosen license. Authors have the right to use their own work in any way they choose after it is published in the Journal.

4. Journal's Rights

The Journal has the right to use and distribute the published content in any form, including print and electronic formats. The Journal also reserves the right to make necessary changes to the format and layout of the content to ensure readability and compliance with publishing standards.

5. Archiving and Preservation

The Journal is committed to long-term preservation of published content. The Journal may deposit its content in recognized digital archives and repositories to ensure the ongoing accessibility and permanence of the published works.

6. Compliance with Ethical Standards

Authors are expected to comply with ethical standards in research and publication. The Journal reserves the right to retract any published content that is found to be in violation of ethical standards or if it is determined that the research is not original or has been previously published elsewhere.

7. Changes to the Licensing Policy

The Journal reserves the right to update or modify this Licensing Policy as needed. Authors will be notified of any changes, and the updated policy will be made available on the Journal's website.
