The "Advance Social Science Archive Journal" (ASSAJ) understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we strive to be accommodating in such situations. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which authors can request a refund for their article processing fees.
1. Eligibility for Refunds:
- Authors are eligible for a full refund if:
- Their article is withdrawn before the peer-review process begins.
- The journal is unable to find suitable reviewers for the article within a reasonable timeframe.
- The article is rejected for publication due to reasons beyond the author's control, such as plagiarism or ethical concerns.
- Authors are eligible for a partial refund (50%) if:
- Their article is rejected for publication due to minor revisions or improvements that the author chooses not to implement.
- The author withdraws their article after the peer-review process has begun but before the final decision is made.
- Authors are not eligible for a refund if:
- Their article is accepted for publication and subsequently published.
- The author withdraws their article after the final decision has been made, regardless of the outcome.
- The author fails to meet the submission guidelines or deadlines.
- The author commits any misconduct, such as plagiarism or falsification of data.
2. Refund Process:
- To request a refund, please contact the ASSAJ editorial office at [email protected] with a clear explanation of the reason for your request.
- The editorial office will review your request and make a decision based on the terms of this Refund Policy.
- If your request is approved, the refund will be processed within 30 business days and returned to the original payment method.
