A Research Review of Iconography in the Narrations of Hazrat Aisha (R.A)
Abstract
Be it the aspect of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) portrait or the other aspects of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) solitude, Sayyida Aisha is recognized as the guardian of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) solitude because many narrations from her are part of the books of Hadith. After the demise of the Prophet (peace be upon him), she lived for 48 years. For this long period, i.e., for about 57 years, she continued to serve the religion day and night. Continue to spread religious knowledge, the most hadiths among the companions have been narrated from you. Your memory was very strong, what you heard was not just remembered temporarily; rather, it remained imprinted in your heart and mind. The narration of Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa is proof of the light of prophethood on his radiant face. What pen has the power to praise the radiant face of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that can encompass the image of his radiant face, the face of which the entire Arab and non-Arab world was crazy and whose sight the world once feared, the face of which the companions would spontaneously exclaim, "This is the face of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)." The way of worship of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), with its balance, sincerity, fear and steadfastness, is the best guidance for the Ummah. Dhikr, supplication, invitation to goodness, preaching and reminder, teaching and learning, etc. And some acts of worship are related to actions, whether they are physical, such as prayer or financial, such as zakat and sadaqah, or both physical and financial.
