Abstract

Educational interpretation has developed in recent decades with the development of sciences and their branching into the most accurate disciplines as a specialized interpretation through which the focus is on a specialized educational discourse by benefiting from the data of educational sciences in understanding the Qur’an, or applying educational theories to the Qur’an, or theorizing these sciences on the basis of the Holy Qur’an. The importance of educational interpretation stands out in that it is consistent with the main objective of the revelation of the Qur’an, which is guidance and education. The study will contribute to revealing many educational issues and references that are not present in the rest of the exegesis. Besides it will be helpful in deduction and application of various new ideas of interpretation along with it’s authenticating, rooting, theorizing this Modern trend in Tafseer. From this point of view, this research came as an attempt to extract and highlight the educational aspects of the legal verses pertaining to jihad, which are usually interpreted as explicit verdicts of law only.
